I found that there are a number of issues where the Jukebox and music Player either prematurely terminate/loop a song, or allow it to play past its maximum length. I discovered these when using my website to host static .ogg file links for use in a base.
Some files that cause this problematic behavior are:
- the_empires_finest.ogg (Actual length is 2:22, jukebox reads 2:07 yet oddly terminates the song at 1:50)
- eti_ambition.ogg (Actual length is 2:32, jukebox reads as 2:18 and the gray background bar will actually go beyond the bounds of the screen when rendering. This one terminates at 2:32 as it is expected to.)
- aki_composure.ogg (Actual length is 2:44, jukebox reads as 2:35, and this one terminates at 2:02)
- eternal_bond.ogg (Actual length is 00:58, jukebox reads 0:34 and but play until the end, the gray bar rendering beyond the bounds of the screen here too)
I have not yet tested:
- Other file formats
- Other static sources (though this is unlikely to change anything)
- Other means of generating the ogg files (ffmpeg is the best out there, and all other media players seem to be fine with the files)
These ogg files were generated with ffmpeg.

dk how much wiggle space there is with that feature, but there is a common problem with bridges, typically with grass, where the grass turns into dirt thru external factors, it becomes a “seperate bridge” since it doesnt correspond with the initial bridge, thus you need to either turn it back into grass or destroy the bridge and place a dirt bridge to activate-deactivate, else the blocks just stay invincible, floating for forever
somehow some people managed to do that with other blocks, thats pretty rare tho

Hello, I havn’t tested it thoroughly, but a chest with water bottle with a boosted hopper below going into brewing stands, makes you loose a lot of the water bottles.
My guess is that its the bottles odd stack size, 8, which does it when it goes into boosted hopper or from there to hopper ducts or even from the hopper ducts and into the brewing stands.

About a year ago I didn’t have this issue, but now that I’ve returned I’ve noticed that the jukebox is a bit finicky. When using any direct link to a song (.mp3) I’ve noticed that (depending on the song it seems) it will play for X amount of seconds and then suddenly go into a state of buffering and loop back to the start before the song really even got started and it’ll do this on repeat. I’ve tried multiple sites to see if they’d yield different results however they didn’t.

1. /advertise shows that it supports “id:data” but there’s no way to actually make damage values work
2. If you mix the item data with an inline tag it completely goes haywire

This causes stacking issues with Icestone as you end up with Icestone with a DV of 0 and 1. The issue is more concerning with Ambrosium Ore as a DV of 1 turns it into a Dark Holystone version of itself. This makes it impossible to place down regular Ambrosium Ore (and even if it didn’t change into its dark holystone countertype, it would result in stacking issues).

Randoro just made a really good point. There are so many times when people spend a lot of time reading tutorials and trying to get help (still at spawn a lot of the time, even), so once their hour is up of newbie protection, etc. a lot of folks haven’t even finished building themselves a house.
Here are some other issues with newbies:
Mining World: maybe should only be available to VIP players because he sees a lot of players go straight to mining and see a level 10 mob and get killed right off the bat. Maybe have some sort of recommendation that’s very clear telling new players they should consider starting in the aether?

Seems to be that the source of this bug is NOT a large amount of entities nearby. It’s the nearby activity of blockstate changes. For example; within my grinder I turned off my bridges, the signs no longer had an issue. Turned them back on.. The bug came back.
For those who don’t know the bug; Editing a sign causes the data of the sign to be lost whilst editing every few seconds (which turns out to be the regular intervals that the bridge switches on/off), leaving the player with only a few seconds to try and change the sign information. If the user tries to edit the sign for too long, they crash.

I’ve got a complaint from Nimial that she puts Nox (and all his alts) in her ignore list but that it’s resetting about every day or so. I don’t ignore anyone, so I’m not sure if this is exactly true. She says he is bothering her so much that she feels like she wants to leave the server. I don’t like hearing this and I also don’t like thinking that the tools in place to assist players in ignoring other players in these situations aren’t working, so I wanted to make you guys aware of it.
I’m going to see what I can find out from Nimial about what he’s doing exactly and maybe take some kind of action there, in the meantime.

Task Description
When unloading the area (for example warping away) and then return to harvest a few minutes later, you will end up with a product having 0/8 uses and the rest of the pot is replaced with watery brew (8/8 uses).
Seems like the cause is due to unloading the cookpots which is removing any temporary data of the finished product that is stored within them.
Example of this happening: I waited for my Strength 4 juices to finish, I picked those up and then left the area to store them, I came back and harvested the gelatin within the pots using bowls and all 10 gave me Gelatin (0/8 uses) items whilst placing a new Watery Brew (8/8 uses) within the pots.

It’s pretty easy to set up a bridge and a good way not to waste so much resources but instead signs.
However, if you break the block the sign stands on, the bridge won’t dissapear.
Like this it’s theoretically possible to “build” huge platforms in nearly no time, using 2 signs and a few resources.
Pretty unbalanced? just make sure Hamster won’t find out, he might use it for his platform otherwise :3

The link for site 2 takes your ingame name and adds it on the end of the URL. This causes a 404 error on the page and is only solved by removing the name off the end of the URL. I know this isn’t the most tedious of tasks for a user to do but would be nice if the name was removed from the link for convinience.

I’ve also recieved reports of the boss dissappearing mid fight, causing a user to ask how to escape, responding with /spawn.

The last time I tested all of these items, they never exceeding doing 1 damage. I was unsure if they had a specific damage bonus against certain entities, for example light against undead. I tried all of them against one of my grinders, being pigzombies, and they all did 1 damage to all of the entities that it hit. When capturing a First Mate everything seems as usual, but the only piece of data that isn’t saved is the charmed progression. When you capture a First Mate, whether they are 1/5 charmed or 5/5, they will reset to 0/5 once spawned back on the ground.
Secondly, after placing them back on the ground, if they were charmed, you would still see the Cutlass being offered but instead it be one of the 16 random items with their random prices. For example, I could see the Cutlass for 395$, buy it, and get 8 anglers instead.

Just after the update, I decided to continue cooking juices to upgrade them. However, now they’re not finishing after 60 seconds. So I decided to wait 8×60 seconds just incase that was the patch. Still cooking. I decided to also wait 600s, maybe a 0 was added? Nope. Still cooking.

When typing /who, you have the ability to check a players broken block list. When scrolling down the broken block list, at some point you will encounter an invalid entry that causes the client to crash completely. if you want a beacon to give full effect now you need to dig a deep hole to throw it in, in my point of view that is a waste of time and doesn’t make the decoration purpose of the beacon any better. also, it’s very annoying to lose effects due to height while mining and building.

Task Description
With the Iron Bubble, you can breath infinitely. All you have to do is go underwater and lose all air. Once you begin to get hurt, put on the Iron Bubble and take it off. Now you can breath infinitely until you get air.

Task Description
When you eat/drink a stew (or a drink) that is stacked to 2 (or more) they will all be decreased by 1 use. This happened when I created 2 fish chowders both having 8 uses. Then they were both decreased by 1 use.

I noticed a generated structure which had these stones polished, but was unable to craft them like other polished stone (Andesite, Diorite, Granite, Marble, etc.)

I don’t know if this problem is just for me, but here’s the message:

This might be the same for the other npc’s (I don’t think so) and I also noticed that it happens when I right click the npc while walking.
